NEW FINES STARTING JULY 1st 2008.
New Driving Fines for 2008 for State of California
1. Carpool lane - 1st time $1068.50 starting 7/1/08 (The $271 posted on the highway is old). Don't do it again because 2nd time is going to be double. 3rd time triple and 4th time license suspended.
2. Incorrect lane change - $380. Don't cross the lane on solid lines or intersections.
3. Block intersection - $485
4. Driving on the shoulder - $450
5. Cell phone use in the construction zone. - Double fine as of 07/01/08. Cell phone use must be "hands free" while driving.
6. Passengers over 18 not in their seatbelts - both passengers and drivers get tickets.
7. Speeders can only drive 3 miles above the limit.
8. DUI = JAIL (Stays on your driving record for 10 years!)
9. As of 07/01/08 cell phone use must be "hands free" while driving. Ticket is $285. They will be looking for this like crazy - easy money for police department

same here. they wan't people to stop smoking so there is a new rule since the first of july no smoking allowed in public places like pubs, coffeeshops. and the taxes they loose on the sigarettes thay collect it with gasoline. prices still rising. no fun anymore to own anything that uses natural resources.

lol kind of the same here too expect that the speeders limit is 5 km over the limit expect in school zone or neightborhoods and at least over there they let you talk while u drive here u cant even do it here if u have hands free

ohio has that law too. to me its not about smoking. its about people telling other people how to live. and i cant stand that. dont tell me how to live my life i agree... we should be able to smoke pot whenever and where ever we want but i still hate cigs  ...and colombiano where u live?? can you even talk in a car while driving?? fuk! u cant use hands free phone..can you smoke in your car while driving?? |

ohio has that law too. to me its not about smoking. its about people telling other people how to live. and i cant stand that. dont tell me how to live my life i hear ya d00d. that's exactly my point. don't care if u hate sigs or not. the smokers here are discriminated. if u would ask a local bar owner here he would say his turnover has reduces with atleast 25%. and sum even disregard the new law even if they could risk a big ticket. hey i know sigarettes n all are bad for my health. but it's my own fucking choice. sure i know that other people have problems with the fact that there are smokers in the same room. but most people don't have a problem with that. the way it's going down is that the government is taking everything that helps us. and giving us a lot of shit back with higher taxes and rules whe should ablige to cause they "think" it's better for us. I have only 2 words for these people. FUCK YOU!!!! and let me live my own fucking life. |
